The journal is an official Russian periodical. It is registered by the Federal Department supervising the sphere of mass communication and the protection of cultural heritage (Registration Certificate) and by ISSN International Centre. The journal ISSN is 1997-292Х.

"Historical, philosophical, political and law sciences, culturology and study of art. Issues of theory and practice" is a reviewed scientific journal. The journal contains only specially selected articles concerning the above-mentioned subject areas. The scientific value and relevance of the articles are provided with the expert assessment of our Editorial Board. As our journal is dedicated to special subject areas it is the valuable source of qualitative scientific matter for researching in history, philosophy, political and law sciences, culturology and study of art. The journal is published three times a year according to the publishing schedule. All the issues of the journal are presented in central Russian libraries.

The rules of submitting scientific articles are published in each issue of the journal and are strictly followed by our Editorial Board. We publish articles in Russian or in English. There is a compulsory condition of publishing articles: if you have aa academic degree (Ph. D.) you should send a scanned copy of the confirmatory document; if you don't have an academic degree your article must be given a positive estimate in a letter of recommendation from the head of your department or your scientific supervisor. The letter must be signed and must have a signature guarantee. You should send a scanned copy of the letter together with your article and personal information. We do not limit the number of articles you send to be published in one and the same issue of the journal. If we refuse to publish your article we send you a letter by e-mail containing a detailed explanation.
