FACULTY OF SOCIAL PROFESSIONS: A PAGE FROM HISTORY OF KUBAN STATE TECHNOLOGICAL UNIVERSITY (BY THE ARCHIVAL MATERIALS OF THE UNIVERSITY)

Abstract. The article investigates the history of the Faculty of Social Professions (FoSP) of Krasnodar Polytechnic Institute (now Kuban State Technological University in Krasnodar). On the basis of the analysis of the archival materials of the University the author reconstructs the internal structure and functional-role characteristics of the FoSP, determines its purposiveness within the framework of the soviet education system. Empirical data enabled to make the conclusion about the stages of the FoSP functioning and introduce the periodization of its structural development into scientific use.
