DIAGNOSTIC METHODS OF PLASMA AND ARC PROCESSES UNDER IMPULSE EXCITATION OF WELDING CIRCUIT

Abstract. The article considers the methods of diagnosing the characteristics of plasma and arc processes under impulse excitation of welding circuit. To investigate the characteristics of plasma the method of probing arc column by the system of moving probes, digital photography and the check of its parameters using the developed information-measuring system are suggested. Measurement errors in the probe studies of arc are determined.
