METHODS OF CREATING CHARACTERS IN NOVEL "BEHIND THE GLASS" BY R. MERLE

Abstract. The article considers the methods of creating characters in the novel "Behind the Glass" by R. Merle. It is shown that the inner and outer speech of the fictional and real prototypes of the heroes has special importance. Its correlation with the described events takes the fact that forms the basis of the novel out of the local action of the Gauchists. The capture of the Council Chamber is presented not only by the manifestation of the internal contradictions of the protest movement, but also by the expression of the features of the young generation outlook in the 1960s.
