MUSIC FESTIVALS AND HOLIDAYS ROLE IN MUSICAL ART DEVELOPMENT AND AESTHETIC EDUCATION OF URAL POPULATION IN THE 1960S – 1980S

Abstract. The article investigates music festivals and holidays influence on the process of musical art development. The role of philharmonic societies, choral societies and other creative organizations in the musical-aesthetic education of Ural population is defined. The forms and methods of professional musical collectives’ work on aesthetic knowledge dissemination among the rural population of the region are studied.
