BRAZIL NUCLEAR PROGRAM: GENESIS, CONTEMPORARY STATE, PROSPECTS

Abstract. The article assesses the possibility of Brazil transformation into the nuclear power. As the sources various scientific studies and authorized documents are used. The author analyzes the historical and contemporary prerequisites of fissile substances use for military purposes, as well as the topical issues of Brazil cooperation with other states in the sphere of nuclear technologies.
