"GOYA’S TEXT" IN I. POLYANSKAYA’S NOVEL "HOW DIFFICULT IT IS TO TEAR AWAY FROM MIRRORS"

Abstract. The article analyzes I. Polyanskaya’s novel "How Difficult It Is to Tear Away from Mirrors", which is characterized by the combination of realistic writing traditions with the elements of post-modernist poetics. The work is an attempt to interpret the "text" of the Spanish artist of the late XVIII - early XIX century F. Goya in I. Polyanskaya’s novel. The main functions of ecphrasis in the analyzed work are considered.
