ON ISSUE OF OVERCOMING STEREOTYPES RELATING TO NORMS OF "FEMININITY" AND "MASCULINITY"

Abstract. The article is devoted to the problem associated with some stereotypes about the norms of "femininity/masculinity" existing in society. It describes the stages of academic work, the use of methodological techniques relating to gender identity, competence formation, the elaboration of behavioural patterns, the identification of the level of students’ gender education development. The author proves the importance and necessity of gender approach in the education of a highly cultured person.
