THE KAZAKH-KYRGYZ NEGOTIATIONS ON FINANCIAL SUPPORT OF PROCESS OF KYRGYZSTAN ACCESSION TO THE EURASIAN ECONOMIC UNION

Abstract. The article studies one of the most important aspects of the problem of Kyrgyzstan accession to the Customs Union (CU) and the Common Economic Space (CES) of the forming Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU), namely the issue of the financial support of the process of this country accession to the integration association. The negotiations of the Kyrgyz government with one of the members of the current EAEU - Kazakhstan - on this issue in 2014 - the year preceding the formal coming into effect of the Agreement of the EAEU are analyzed. The author pays attention to the special importance of the problem to the Kyrgyz authority actively lobbying it during this period, and also determines the share of the Kazakh financial support in the total amount of funds allocated to the Kyrgyz government by the members of the CU and the CES.
