PAYBACK OF SPECIALIZED RADIO-FREQUENCY COILS IN TOMOGRAPHY

Abstract. The article presents the analysis of the payback of specialized radio-frequency coils for magnetic resonance tomography. The designs of the coils, their interchangeability and cost according to the manufacturers are considered. Their state of being relevant when doing researches in general hospitals is evaluated. Basing on the statistical analysis of different types of researches conducted with the use of tomographic scanners with 1.5 T field over the period of several months the authors show the proportion of studies with the use of different types of coils.
