WIDESPREAD NATURAL CHALCONES

Abstract. The survey article generalizes and summarizes the literature data of the last years, as well as the results of the authors’ research in the field of medicinal plants flavonoids. The most common natural chalcones are presented in the paper, their nomenclature, classification, mechanism of formation and biological properties are enumerated. The bibliography includes ninety-one names.
