USE OF QUICK WAVELET TRANSFORM IN METHODS OF CONTROLLING ARC SUPPRESSION COILS

Abstract. This paper is devoted to a problem related to methods of controlling arc suppression coils in 6-35 kV networks with an isolated neutral. The article describes types of the existing methods of arc suppression coils control. It is proposed to use relatively new mathematical apparatus - wavelet transform - to improve the method of control of arc suppression coils based on discrimination of the frequency of a free component of the zero sequence circuit. Improvement is achieved by filtering the zero-sequence voltage signal with the help of quick wavelet transform.
