PECULIARITIES OF CORRECTION OF STATIC CHARACTERISTICS OF THYRATRON MOTORS WITH FEEDBACK VIA PHASE CURRENTS

Abstract. The article investigates the possibilities of improving the static characteristics of the two-phase thyratron motor with feedback via phase currents formed by its switch. It is shown that while using in the motor the rotor position detector on the basis of the sine-cosine rotating transformer for the surge control of the output voltages of phase-sensitive rectifiers low-pass filters are always required. The author obtains the expressions of the static characteristics of the thyratron motor enabling to assess the extent of the negative impact of the time constants of the low-pass filters and switch on them. The paper also proposes experimentally proven effective ways of parametric correction, which improves the static characteristics of the thyratron motor under study.
