VERBAL MEANS OF V. V. PUTIN’S IMAGE FORMATION IN THE ENGLISH MASS MEDIA

Abstract. This article discusses the image of V. V. Putin created in the current political situation by the English mass media. The study relates to the field of political linguistics. The author takes quotes from various mass media sources as examples. It is concluded that the English mass media sources try to create a negative image of the Russian political leader.
