COMPUTER TECHNOLOGIES IN ENGINEERING GRAPHICS

Abstract. The article is devoted to the history of computer technologies use by departments of engineering graphics. The paper marks particular personalities, departments, institutions of higher education. Experience of both the Russian Federation and other states is represented. The article highlights the contribution to development of computer technologies in graphic disciplines of the Scientific and Methodological Council on Descriptive Geometry, Engineering and Computer Graphics. The author shows the use of computer technologies in educational process at the Department of Engineering Graphics of Bauman University.
