Abstract. The article reveals the contents of the book by the writer and journalist Hachim Kaufov Eternal wanderers. The authors emphasize that this is artistic-publicistic sketches and essays integrated by the common core of narration and the common ideological-thematic orientation. Special attention is paid to the tragical consequences of the Russian-Caucasian war in the artistic portrayal of the writer H. Kaufov.
