SYNTACTIC-STYLISTIC PECULIARITIES OF SPEECH GENRE BUSINESSMAN PORTRAIT

Abstract. The author analyzes stylistics syntactic means used for the realization of influence function in the texts of the speech genre businessman portrait, considers the most typical syntactic methods, expressiveness means, conjunctive and insert constructions helping to create a businessman image in mass-media discourse. Syntactic means (repetition, stylistic inversion, parallel constructions) are used mainly for the accentuation of the personal and speech characteristics and appearance features of a person being portrayed.
