ORIGINALITY AND EVOLUTION OF V. NABOKOV’S STYLE IN STORIES FROM COLLECTIONS "THE EYE" AND "SPRING IN FIALTA"

Abstract. By the example of the narrator’s image structure in the novel "The Eye" and the plot of the stories from the collection "Spring in Fialta" the article analyzes the major stylistic trends that determined the specificity of the literary form of V. Nabokov’s flash fiction of the 1930s. Their study allows revealing the complexity of the writer’s style structure, as well as the qualitative changes in his attitude to the world.
