Abstract. The author considers the parameters of verbal vocabulary functioning, as well as the connection between the semantic and structural organization of the sentence with the valent potential of verb in the quality of propositional component of statement, and pays special attention to the verb, which semantics reflects the contours of situations, composing the nominative basis of the statement.
