Abstract. The authors consider the French argotic phraseological units for the utterance of human body parts characteristics, reveal the major unidirectional and binary characteristics of human body parts uttered by the phraseological units of the French argot, analyze the universal masculine and feminine phraseological units, and ascertain their figurative bases.
