DOCUMENT DISCOURSE – "UNLOVED CHILD" OF RUSSIAN LINGUISTICS

Abstract. The importance of documents social role and their rapidly progressive quantitative growth condition the topicality of document problematic. However, the document discourse holds marginal position in linguistic studies; its obviousness is found in comparison with the privileged position of literary discourse. The author having researched the reasons of the current situation obtains the explanatory model, including the factors of social, conceptual, methodological, and intellectual nature.
