COMMUNICATIVE-PRAGMATIC FEATURES OF PEDAGOGICAL COMMUNICATION PATERNALISTIC STYLE

Abstract. The author considers some communicative-pragmatic characteristics of communication paternalistic style in pedagogical discourse, refers to them the following characteristics: the asymmetry of relations, dominance-of-older attitude, mentoring tone, the presence of persuasion manipulative strategies and the suggestion by adult authority power; and as the material for the research uses the fragments of literary texts and films in the English and Russian languages.
