Abstract. The authors pose the problem of finding ways by F. M. Dostoevskii to the genuine unity of people on the basis of Christian humanism in the novel "The Brothers Karamazov". The methodological conception of the article is related to M. M. Bakhtin’s theory of polyphonism, which had an impact on a range of contemporary philosophical directions, linguistics and communication theory. The research of novel characters’ dialogic speech shows its effectiveness in the sphere of philological analysis of the text.
