SECOND PREDICATE REPRESENTED BY ADVERBIAL PARTICIPLE IN SYSTEM OF PREDICATIVE MEANS

Abstract. The author discusses the problem of determining the place of the second active-process predicate in the system of predicative means, basing on nominative-pragmatic paradigm states that adverbial participle, correlated with the clause of a sentence and being the representative of the second predicate, conditions its qualities and properties, and tells that the identification of distinctive features of the second active-process predicate allows not only significantly enhancing the understanding of adverbial participle syntactic function, but also coming to the conclusion about the multi-level system of predictive means in the structure of the Russian sentence.
