SEMANTICS OF HYPERTEXT TRANSITIONS SOURCES WITHIN NEWS INTERNET-MESSAGES

Abstract. The author considers the problem of relations between the texts of online media news messages, tells that these relations became possible due to hypertextuality – the basic property of electronic media distinguishing them from printed analogues, introduces the notion of inset as the unit of news site, which is a completely new component of mass media language that does not exist in the traditional media space, also mentions the fact that insets act as a connecting-link of news texts, and gives the classification of different types of insets.
