REPRESENTATIONAL AND ICONIC STRATEGY FOR TRANSMISSION EMOTIVENESS (BY THE MATERIAL OF A GERMAN NOVEL)

Abstract. The article examines representational and iconic strategy for transmission emotions in the discourse of a German novel. The analysis testifies that representational and iconic strategy transmits information by using iconic communicative elements: graphic signs and syntactical highlighting. Under investigation is a communicative and pragmatic meaning of a representational and iconic strategy as a means of the category of emotiveness.
