PSYCHOLOGICAL AND PEDAGOGICAL FEATURES OF TEACHING FOREIGN LANGUAGE AT STAGE OF FINISHING ELEMENTARY SCHOOL (BY THE EXAMPLE OF PRODUCTIVE WRITING)

Abstract. The article considers the psychological features of junior school pupils and their influence on the process of teaching a foreign language. The author pays special attention to the problem of teaching to write in foreign language and points out the importance of this written speech skill at the final stage of teaching in junior school. The physiologic-pedagogic characteristic of the pupils of 10-11 years old proves the importance of introducing the elements of productive written activity in the teaching foreign language process to actualize natural cognitive and communicative motifs.
