ACTIONAL MEANINGS OF THE FORM - А ХАЛ- IN THE KHAKASS LANGUAGE

Kyzlasova Inga Lyudovikovna
Khakass State University named after N. F. Katanov

Abstract. Analysis of the meaning and structure of the form -а хал- allowed for the first time identifying in the Khakass language the aspectual semantics of continuity of an action with a shade of intensity. The analysis testifies that the modifying verb хал- "to stay" combines only with the dynamic verbs denoting either intensive element and continuation of an action or development of an action with a gradual acceleration/slowdown or multiplicity of perception. Combination of a modifier хал- with the verbs of motion indicates intensive motion directed aside/every which way from the observer.
