HISTORICAL LEGENDS ABOUT DISSIDENCE IN SOUTH TRANS-URAL REGION OLD BELIEVERS’ FOLKLORE

Abstract. The historical legends about the Orthodox Church dissidence fixed in South Trans-Ural region Old Believers’ confessional environment are considered in the article. The motif and image-bearing levels of the narrative structure of Trans-Ural oral stories about Old Belief origin history are researched. Old Believers’ religious worldview specificity reflection in the works of their artistic creativity is analyzed.
