THE FORMATION OF SEMANTIC NEOLOGISMS AS A METHOD FOR REALIZING THE PRINCIPLE OF CONCEPTUAL AUTONOMY OF THE EUROPEAN UNION LAW

Abstract. The article is devoted to the topical subject of the formation of new legal terminology under conditions of European multilingualism. Specific of a European legislator’s activity is that he has full autonomy in creating the terminology of the EU law, and therefore, we can talk about creating a relatively new terminological system. The article presents examples of semantic neologisms originated exclusively on the basis of the EU law, analyzes the methods for their formation. The author concludes that the increasing complexity and variation of the conceptual system of law as a result of European integration led to the appearance of neosyntagmas of juridical subject area.
