Abstract. The article is devoted to the problem of searching the means for optimization of teaching foreign language grammatical material. The author shows the possibilities for the use in the educational process the findings of scientific researches in the field of theoretical grammar of the German language in relation to the systemic correlations in the sphere of structural organization of syntactical units of the target language.
