DEVELOPING THE CONCEPTION OF LANGUAGE ECONOMY IN LINGUISTIC LITERATURE

Abstract. The article deals with the development of the conception of language economy in linguistic literature. In connection with this conception appropriate terminology originated. It changed since the ancient times and was developed in the XIX-XX centuries by the material of different languages. So, economy as one of the principles of the functioning and development of a language is studied at different levels where means for expressing economy and possibilities for its manifestation in the context of the general statement are identified.
