Abstract. The article touches upon some aspects of the development of conceptual worldview in human consciousness. Cognitive linguistics assumes that all the phenomena of everyday life around us are manifested in the form of various mental representations in human consciousness, which are then structured and formed into the individual elements of the human’s worldview: concepts, frames, images, etc. The author considers the issue of relationship between the key notions of cognitive linguistics, such as "frame" and "concept". The description of an attempt to model the concept "школа" ("school") by means of frame structure is given.
