PARAGOGICS AS A NEW APPROACH TO AUTONOMOUS FOREIGN LANGUAGE STUDY AND IMPROVING PROFESSIONAL COMPETENCE

Abstract. The article reveals the meaning of the concept "paragogics" as a new approach to self-education and "equi-gogics" as a phenomenon of self-organizing education on the Internet. The authors pay special attention to the realization of this approach in the sphere of foreign language study and improving professional competence of foreign language teachers which is implemented on-line within the framework of the activity of the Internet communities (English language learners and teachers).
