VERBAL MEANS OF MANIPULATIVE STRATEGY IMPLEMENTATION IN THE ACADEMIC DISCOURSE

Abstract. The article is devoted to studying the means of linguistic manipulation in the academic discourse between a teacher/tutor and a student/learner from the viewpoint "manipulator-teacher - recipient-student". Working on the research the author identified a number of manipulative tactics aimed to maintain the strategies for increasing motivation for the subject and educational process on the whole and increasing motivation for a specific material under study among the students.
