THE PRESERVATION DEGREE OF TRANSREGIONAL MOTIVES IN THE PLACES OF A COMPACT RESIDENCE OF SETTLED KORYAKS (BY THE MATERIALS OF EXPEDITIONS OF THE MEMBERS OF THE INSTITUTE OF PHILOLOGY OF THE SIBERIAN BRANCH OF THE RUSSIAN ACADEMY OF SCIENCES IN 1991-2006)

Abstract. The article presents the data, which allow analyzing the preservation degree of transregional motives in the places of compact residence of settled Koryaks at the end of XX - the beginning of XXI century. As expedition studies show four transregional motives have been kept up to now: 1) the character doesn’t recognize his reflection in the water, he thinks that a woman looks at him, he wants to marry her; 2) the character imitates his death to eat hungrily in loneliness; 3) the character pulls out his eyes and lays them aside for a while, the other character destroys them or carries away, the one, who lost his eyes, returns them or obtains new ones; 4) the man turns into a woman and marries him.
