Tuvan State University

Abstract. The article examines the questions of the formation of surnames and patronymic names in the Tuvinian anthroponomical system, which has become the object of scientific studies from the end of the XX century. In the middle of the last century the surnames and patronymic names appeared on the Russian pattern in connection with the passport system among the Tuvinians that testifies that the Tuvinian language formed and is developing on the pattern of the Russian language.
