THE EXPRESSION OF EMOTIONS AT THE LEXICAL LEVEL IN THE RUSSIAN LANGUAGE (BY THE MATERIAL OF THE WORKS BY IVAN TURGENEV)

Abstract. The article discusses the means of expressing emotive meaning at the lexical linguistic level, the definition of emotive meaning is given and various types of emotive vocabulary are discussed. Special attention is paid to the vocabulary, in which emotive meaning is not basic, but contextual, and to the means of actualization of this meaning, in particular, to the techniques of lexical and syntactic repetitions. The analysis is conducted by the material of the works by I. S. Turgenev.
