ON THE PROBLEM OF "PREDICATES OF UNLIMITING PROCESS" SUCH AS "ПОПИТЬ" AND "HAVE A DRINK"

Kholodova Dar'ya Dmitrievna
Moscow City Teacher Training University

Abstract. The article introduces a description of the semantic structure of the "predicates of unlimiting process" (PUP) such as "попить" and "have a drink", identifies the integral semantic markers relevant for the description of the investigated predicates. The author claims that the markers "controllability", "portion" of an action and "unlimiting character" of an action are the key components of PUP semantics. The researcher argues that the mentioned markers determine semantic and functional peculiarities of the units under discussion.
