NOMINATIONS OF A HUMAN BEING ACCORDING TO THE FEATURE "CARE / INDIFFERENCE FOR HIS OWN APPEARANCE" IN THE MODERN RUSSIAN LANGUAGE

Abstract. The article examines the most popular in the modern Russian language nominations of a human being expressing his attitude to his own appearance. Advanced care or indifference for appearance is traditionally marked by the special lexical and phraseological units, basically borrowed from other languages. Nowadays we observe the returning into the Russian language of the archaic words with such meaning and borrowing new nominations which recently appeared in the English language.
