EMOTIVE SEMANTICS OF THE GERMAN PHRASEOLOGICAL UNITS

Blytova Ekaterina Vyacheslavovna
Vladimir Law Institute of the Federal Penitentiary Service of Russia

Abstract. The article considers the following tasks: to show the efficiency of the phraseological units while objectifying emotions in the language; to examine the emotive semantics of the German phraseological units; to identify the basic emotions represented in the phraseological units of the German language. The analysis testifies that phraseological units most clearly and vividly objectify emotions in the language, representing the nature of emotion; the author argues that the German phraseological units most often represent negative emotions, not so often - positive emotions, and ambivalent emotions are only a small part of the emotive semantics of the phraseological units.
