EMBLEMATIC CHARACTERISTICS OF THE CONCEPTS OF AGE IN THE GERMAN AND RUSSIAN LANGUAGES (BY THE EXAMPLE OF THE CONCEPT "DAS KIND"/ "CHILD")

Abstract. The article examines emblematic characteristics of the concepts of age in the German and Russian linguo-cultures. To analyze these characteristics the author chose the concept "child / das Kind", the figurative-perceptive and value components of its structure are under research. Understanding the emblematics of the cultural signs allows identifying the value dominants of a certain linguo-culture which promotes optimization of the intercultural communication in the society.
