METHODOLOGY OF TEACHING TRANSLATION AT THE MODERN STAGE

Abstract. The article examines the basic problems of the methodology of teaching translation. Conducted analysis indicates that the state of this science is characterized by eclecticity, lack of the generally adopted methodological basis, unified conceptual approaches. Translators’ training remains academic, "intuitive" but not scientifically grounded. The author emphasizes that further development of the methodology of teaching translation should be aimed at the solution of the mentioned problems.
