STYLISTIC PECULIARITIES OF THE "MALE" AND "FEMALE" NEWS TEXTS

Abstract. The article is devoted to the influence of gender factor on the verbal behaviour of the participants of mass-media discourse. The author pays special attention to the analysis of stylistic peculiarities of the "male" and "female" news texts. The paper examines gender specifics of using stylistic means at the different levels of language system and influence of sociocultural and psychological factors on the peculiarities of text-formation among the male and female journalists.
