ADDRESS IN AZERBAIJANI POETRY OF INDEPENDENCE EPOCH

Abstract. The article discovers the meaning of address as a stylistic figure and the basic means of communication expressing certain rhythmics and emotions and imparting artistic and esthetic meaning to the poem. Having emerged in the period of classical poetry formation, addresses developed their own way and appeared to be in use again in the epoch of the Azerbaijan Republic independence. In modern Azerbaijani literature they became an important and significant element of versification, they give depth to the text content, they are an efficient means of rhythmics and expression.
