ON PROBLEM OF FORMING MOTIVATION TO STUDY THE FRENCH LANGUAGE BY STUDENTS OF NONLINGUISTIC SPECIALTIES

Abstract. The article is devoted to the problem of nonlinguistic specialties students’ motivation to study the French language. The topicality of the paper is conditioned by the introduction of professional standards with high requirements concerning the foreign-language proficiency of future specialists. The article considers difficulties while teaching the French language at nonlinguistic faculties that lead to decrease in motivation to study the discipline, as well as factors contributing to increase in the level of motivation to study a foreign language.
