ACTUALIZATION OF LATENT FAIRY TALE MOTIVES IN THE SECONDARY TEXT

Abstract. The article examines the phenomenon of revising fairy tales - valuable for Western civilization texts claiming to be conceptually complete. The author emphasizes the actualization of the original text‘s latent motives associated with socialization and sexual sphere of human life and veiled for the target audience - children. The modern authors implement such actualization changing the target audience and shifting the narration’s focus on heroine which predetermines the changes in the narrative scheme of the story being told.
