THE STUDY OF NON-EQUIVALENT VOCABULARY AT THE LESSONS OF RUSSIAN AS A FOREIGN LANGUAGE

Abstract. Studying non-equivalent vocabulary of the modern Russian language is an important stage in mastering Russian by foreign students. The article reveals the term and notion of "non-equivalent language unit". Functions of learning non-equivalent vocabulary are enumerated. Topical non-equivalent language units of the Russian language are considered. The paper denotes subgroups, which non-equivalent words of the Russian language can be divided into. The stages of examination of new words are highlighted. The methodology of work on new words is proposed.
