ORGANIZATION OF STUDENTS’ RESEARCH ACTIVITY WITHIN THE FRAMEWORK OF THE ELECTIVE COURSE "FOREIGN LANGUAGE FOR ACADEMIC PURPOSES" ON THE BASIS OF THE ‘MOODLE’ PLATFORM

Abstract. The article discusses the issue of the organization of a foreign language teaching in institutions of higher education on the basis of the educational platform ‘Moodle’. The paper analyzes advantages of its use for the formation of students’ research skills. The authors generalize the experience of the development and introduction into the educational process of the elective course "Foreign Language for Academic Purposes" on the basis of the mentioned platform in Moscow Region State University.
