FACTORS IN THE CULTURAL CONCEPTUALIZATION OF ENGLISH IN THE COUNTRIES OF EUROPE

Abstract. The article deals with the analysis of the factors that make up the cultural component (CC) of the European English language (EEL). The author introduces a new interpretation of EEL as a set of situational-identifying and situational-activity sociolects, being used in transnational and intranational communication. The paper discusses the formation of the cultural component of EEL (Euro-English) on the basis of primary socialization and secondary cultural orientation, including knowledge of basic concepts of European language ideology.
